A continuous line drawing of a spine, repeated and layered. Transfered with screen wash onto procien dyed stretched paper. Section of dye have then been removed with bleach.

Primary Drawing

Descriptive drawing of old medical equipment, skeletal X-ray and internal wiring. Media- graphite, coloured pencil and some wet media.

Development- INTERNAL

The basis for this work was to look at the internal workings of many things, and what might happen when these internal workings fail. Transport engines, animal organs, prosthetic limbs and bone structure all hold vital connecting elements. Sockets, veins, plugs and cell structure are some of the' Guts of Things' I initially looked at as inspiration for this body of work.
