Embellishment components

Accessory making is big in Spain, so whilst in Malaga over Easter I took the opportunity to buy in a variety of rubber and leather. When buying, colour and size was a consideration. I intend to cut the strips and couch onto my sample collection and garments to create unique embellishment.

Development of embossed PVC and silver leather

I have embossed PVC and leather. I then cut each piece out by hand and layer together. This will become a collar/chest piece for a final collection dress.

New development work

A surface design developed in Illustrator that has been dropped into a main motif I am using with this current work. I have printed the design onto silver leather and then I have embossed the leather in the heat press. I have done this by laser cutting the main motif out of MDF. Any questions are very welcome.

Development sampling of new work

Using laser cut wooden motifs, I have heated PVC into surface design. Also screen prints and bonding plastic coated fabrics together.
